Ich bin kein Experte in diesem Bereich, aber ich habe ähnliche Informationen gefunden, mit denen Sie möglicherweise Ihr Problem lösen.

1) Im Terminal ausführen: grep submenu /boot/grub/grub.cfg

2) Finden Sie Ihre Kernel in der Liste und achten Sie auf deren Reihenfolge. Die Bestellung beginnt bei "0". Der erste Kernel in der Liste ist also "0", der zweite "1" usw.

3) Führen Sie dann Sudo gedit /etc/default/grub aus und gehen Sie zu Zeile: GRUB_DEFAULT= und geben Sie unter Verwendung der Informationen aus Schritt 2 GRUB_DEFAULT=0 ein (für Kernel 0 in Liste), oder GRUB_DEFAULT=1 (für Kernel 1 in der Liste) usw. (oder wie auch immer die Bestellnummer des gewünschten Kernels laut Ausgabe von grep submenu /boot/grub/grub.cfg lautet).

4) Sudo update-grub

5) neu starten.

Eine Problemumgehung besteht darin, den Kernel zu entfernen, der die letzte Kernelaktualisierung überlappt.

So listen Sie verfügbare Kernel auf:

dpkg-query -l | awk '/linux-image-*/ {print $2}'

So entfernen Sie einen Kernel:

Sudo apt-get --purge remove linux-[replace reference]

Im konkreten Fall:

Sudo apt-get --purge remove linux-image-4.4.0-040400-generic
