Wie Sie sehen konnten, gibt es eine Schnittstelle OpenableColumns, die nur zwei Felder enthält: DISPLAY_NAME und SIZE.

In meinem Fall musste ich EXIF-Informationen zu einem JPEG-Bild abrufen und bei Bedarf drehen, bevor ich sie an einen Server schicke. Dazu habe ich einen Dateiinhalt mit ContentResolver und openInputStream() in eine temporäre Datei kopiert.

In diesem Fall ist der Weg für Bytes, insbesondere unter Android, normalerweise schneller.

Damit löste ich es, indem ich eine Klasse FileHelper aufbaute, die die Verantwortung für das Lesen/Schreiben von Bytes von/bis zum Datei-durch-Stream hat, und eine Klasse UriHelper, die die Verantwortung hat, den Pfad des Uri und die Berechtigung herauszufinden.

Soweit allgemein bekannt, kann string.getBytes((charset == null) ? DEFAULT_CHARSET:charset) uns helfen, die Zeichenfolge, die Sie in die gewünschten Bytes übertragen möchten, zu übertragen.
